Melbourne’s most exclusive address, 333 Collins. I’ve been told to check out this building for awhile now and I finally did last week. Christmas may be over but the tree still stands in this beautiful landmark tower. The former Banking Chamber & Vestibule of the Commercial Bank of Australia was constructed over 100 years ago, before the land boom of the 1890’s. After a big controversy with Melburnians to save the building from a massive demolish, the building is now registered on the Historic Buildings List. Thank goodness people fight to save some of the beauty in this world.

The other day, I had some time to kill in the city so I decided to take a wonder down Hosier Lane to see if any new graffiti had been done. Hosier Lane is a bluestone cobbled laneway in the central city grid of Melbourne and is famous for it’s iconic street art. There were a lot of new and interesting works painted all up and down the laneway but with a lot of people taking pictures of the same images sprayed on the walls… I wanted something a little different. This image to me says MELBOURNE.
